A PARENT'S EXAMPLE MATTERS MOST!!!

A parent’s example will have the most powerful impact on a child.  The clichés are true:  Example is not the best teacher, “example is the only teacher,” and Godly values and principles are more “caught (from a parent’s example) than taught to a child.”

Parenting involves “training’ a child to follow a parent’s example in order to incorporate Godly qualities in adult life.  Hence, a parent must never take their example for granted!!!

PARENTS STAY POSITIVE IN THE MORNING

In terms of a morning routine, studies have found that your child’s first five minutes need to be positive and upbeat because that often establishes their attitude for the entire day.  Hence, the entire morning strive to avoid the “Cs” of correction, criticism, complaining, and condemnation but especially the first five minutes.

Build A Strong Parent-Child Relationship

A positive, active parent fully understands that a solid parent-child connection is built through a strong relationship based on trust and mutual respect. A parent can possess skills, tools, and knowledge but without a strong relationship a child may struggle with a parent’s rules, have lower self-worth, and be less likely to make responsible decisions. Thus, a parent’s number one goal is to do whatever it takes to ensure that the relationship is totally wholesome through excellent communication.

One way for a parent to build a positive relationship with their child is through love statements.  Words are powerful in creating self-confidence and self-worth in a child.  Shown below are 6 ways to communicate love on a daily basis.
